Play Together as a family

Play together as a family

Play together as a family. My husband and I did that when our children were young. We read books to our children every day. We ran around the house playing hide and seek, played with play dough, took care of our babies, had tea parties and made a camp out on the living room floor. I treasured those times because I knew they would not last forever.

My little girls grew and played together every day. They played all the things we played with them and created new play themes. I enjoyed watching them and still played with them at times. Because this was their time to learn about each other and develop their bond, I stepped back.

My girls became teenagers and started finding new friends to hang out with. They disagreed on things at times, but eventually they learned to respect each others differences, and by the time they graduated high school were best friends.

Staying Together

Now they call and text each other all the time, they go to lunch together, and support each other during good and bad times.  One of my daughters is studying occupational therapy in college.  My oldest all ready has her degree.  I see them talking about school and my oldest daughter has helped her throughout her education. I am so proud of my daughters.

My daughters are young women now and are more than best friends. They have a wonderful loving bond. They have learned how to play together as a family, find their own interests and support each other.  It makes me so happy to know that they will have each other through their whole lives.
