‘Follow Breza to Preschool’ was written by Mary Abbruzzese. She’s a retired preschool teacher. She noticed that many young children were very apprehensive about starting school. Being an empathetic person, Mary sought a way to comfort them.
One of Mary’s friends had a young daughter who mispronounced zebra as ‘Breza’. This sparked something special in Mary, who decided to make that the name of the book’s star character. Breza is a magical zebra on her way to the first day of school. She is very nervous, but finds that her fears were unfounded! She winds up having a great first day of school and wants to hear about your child’s first day. Her book is interactive so that kids can share their experiences with Breza. This is a great way for them to face their fears and feel proud of themselves.
Mary has a husband named Tony and is the proud mother of two grown daughters, Christina and Laura. She also has two grandsons named Ryan and Owen that she spends a ton of time with. She currently resides in Macomb, Michigan where she likes to spend time with her growing family.
Her book, puppet, and shirt are available here on her website followbreza.com. If you’re the parent of an apprehensive young child, or know of a special someone, don’t wait, buy her book today.
