Hi there! I am Evita from Sugar Sugar Mama and I am also Mary Abbruzzese’s niece. During the day I am a wife, mama to 2 boys, and a sustainability engineer. I do this while also juggling with my love for health and fitness. I recently realized that I felt disconnected from my girlfriends. Most of my leisure time resulted in purchasing items for my boys or our home. I wanted to create a space where I could reconnect with my ladies. I wanted to meet new friends, let my creativity flow, and stay on top of the styles/ trends.

This all led to the creation of my fun, little side business! I was also seeking a hobby which would slightly engage my family in the behind the scenes work. It certainly has since my husband is the graphic designer (and general technology department). My dad who helps press shirts like the ones we make for Follow Breza and my boys who can also be found on their scooters around our subdivision delivering orders to my neighbor customers.

A sugar mama is an older woman who spends her money on younger men. Well, I felt like I could relate so the name Sugar Sugar Mama naturally fit (especially since I have 2 sweet boys). I felt that I was spending all my money on things related to them. This space I have created is focused on mamas and ladies treating themselves!

I have remained true to having the collection reflect pieces that I personally curate or would have hanging in my own closet. I strive to also intertwine sustainability into my business operations while also giving back to the community with my proceeds. The motion behind creating this space was to make me feel good about myself. That comes from bringing people together and giving back to the community. I also like feeling confident in what I am wearing.
